rumour has it that norma has big plans for canada in 2017. with there loaded ammo. As well as their brass, bullets and powders becoming more widly available. New shotshell, handgun and rimfire ammo coming as well.... FS

With some of the positive reports about Norma Match 22 I would like to be able to buy some for testing.
Talking to the people at BowMac . . . well I think I could more easily just slide the Rocky Mountains over about one inch!

Looking forward to more available components.... I stumbled on a few boxes of Norma Oryx 300gr 375 bullets and have been quite happy with their performance, would like to buy more.

Expect to pay a premium. I was a a lgs a few years ago and someone asked about a weird caliber for brass and all that was available was norma. You better sit down for this... The price was $150 for 25 pcs.

Norma stuff is always pricey but IMHO just like lapua and RWS it's worth every penny if that's what you need at the moment.

Personally other than brass I have zero interest in Norma products.I'm not after that kind of quality.

Premium things have a premium price, why is this a problem?

Having that said, I have Norma brass in 308, and 8x57 that wasn't 50 cents each a few years ago. Its the best brass I've ever reloaded. Some of the rare brass costs more, its not just from Norma

They may invade, but if they don't lower their prices, they are not going to get far...

"cheap things are not good + good things are not cheap" I have Norma brass from the 60's for the .308Norma Mag that finally developed loose primer pockets.........come to think of it ,I'm from the 60's and my pockets are getting a little loose too....Harold

^^^^ Good point.. Canadians are definitely price sensitive,

I looked at brass for my .264WM the other day. The good news was that the store (P&D) had lots. The Hornady was double the price of the Winchester, and the Norma was double the Hornady...

And hornady is about the same price as lapua these days. I can't see that brass being that good. Must last for 50 firings

I understand that. It is a problem when the premium price becomes double of the premium priced objects.
