WR762 rifle

There is a fresh supply of new aftermarket mags for the vz.

They seem to be Tapco quality, and being produced from only 1 source.

Don't anyone get me wrong, I can certainly live with Vz magazines, but I think the platform would be much more popular, at least outside of Canada, if the idea of an AK mag compatible version with BHO was to catch on.

Lots of guys posted about issues with teh Fab defence VZ mags on the Vz facebook page. Thats why I just got 12 factory Metals one instead.

It would be great if these could be made with a factory optics rail.

That's the one thing that would make this good rifle into a great one.

Got 8 of those polymer mags from 2 separate order. First 4 when they first came out at 18$ free shipping and last 4 for the same price but I paid shipping.

They all fit 5 rounds and insert on a closed bolt.
All of them hold the bolt open on last round without any failure.
None of them have caused failure to feed.
They all insert/remove without any efforts.
Build quality, they are closer to pmags than tapcos.

Ordered 8 more before commenting, just in case :p Its just too bad they dont make plain ones without the window.

I still use my 8 metal ones. Two of them are hard to insert/remove but they all run perfectly.

Its a fantasy. People have been crying about the "proprietary" nature of the mags for decades. If it made financial sense, it would have been done already. If the Vz58 cost 400 bucks and used AK mags it might get some traction in the states but that isnt going to happen when the CSA rifles are already more expensive then basically any AK there is.

It wasn't all that long ago when these rifles were half the price they are now, had cheap surplus parts kits readily available, and domestic manufacture wouldn't have been viable.

Times have changed, and even surplus stocks of firearms vastly more common than the vz58 are starting to dry up now.

This is so stupid!!! Have any of you clamoring for ak mags held a metal ak mag? Or is it just cause oooo its a ak mag its so cool? Cause to me that is stupid, the vz mag ar tuff, reliable and light. Like less then half of a metal ak mag. Why in the hell would you want to pay substantially more money for a rifle with Imo inferior magazine?

Like dame could I get a ar15 that use mini14 mags and a glock that yse Hi point mags to go with my vz that uses ak mag????

Not all AK mags are steel, this isn't 1955 any more.

The question is, have you ever held a synthetic military AK mag?

They're probably the most durable box magazine there is, and are slightly lighter than a Vz aluminum mag.

There are also a lot of them sitting in places with really good exchange rates like Ukraine and Venezuela.

why is the the stock and grip never look like the ak one =(
would be in if it looked more like a Ak to be honest, but none the less great job! im sure they will rock.
