Hello hunters,

My cousin and me dream of hunting elk, muskox, cariboo, Yukon moose, bighorn and hogs. Not at once obviously!
We're in eastern Canada and can afford to travel across Canada. But we can't afford a 10k$ outfitter.
We don't need it either, we have most skills, equipments and capacities to be autonomous.

I believe in BC, Alberta and Yukon non-residents can hunt if they buy their licence from a hunting host. But google doesn't find anything.
Is this offered on craiglist, kijiji or friends only?

Thanks for your help.

I did read this.
All non-resident hunters wishing to hunt big game in the Province of British Columbia are required to be accompanied by a registered guide outfitter or by a resident who holds an Accompany to Hunt Permit.
The question I tried to ask was how to get in touch with a resident who hold an Accompany to Hunt permit?

We're not so much after trophies. It's mostly about exploring new sceneries, put the effort to get some action and hopefully bring back some meat.

Anybody need two partners? We'd be very grateful if you'd help us to live this dream.

you gotta know somebody basically.
I thought the Yukon rules changed tho? With their permits to hunt with a resident on a lottery now? there's guys here that will chime in I'm sure.
For BC , I could get a permit and you could hunt with me , I think it's that simple.
so say you have a friend here or a relative who hunts. Get the accompany permit, non resident license and tags and yer good to go man.
My brother in law in alberta was thinking of doing the same thing but no time this year to join me.

Correct if you have a friend in the yukon , you can hunt for certain animals in certain game zones but it is under a lottery system .

We already went moose hunting this fall but I'm looking for opportunities for the next seasons and years.
I'm sending you a pm to see if we can find a win-win formula.
