Any body load 140 grain Barnes ttsx with varget ? If so what was your experience with it ?
I have found H4350 42gr to be accurate and velocity around 2935fps with 140gr ttsx and even better with 140gr accubonds
No factory rem barrel (SS) on a trued action Mcmillan stock bedded. Sorry 48gr H4350.
Ok, makes sense now as I run 43gr of H4350 with 150SMK to give me 2750 ft out of a 26" Krieger.
For that little amount of powder that is pretty good speed. I was running 45.5gr of h4350 with 162 eldx and getting 2650-70 I can't remember the exact speed.

i know its not the 140's you mentioned but im shooting 150gr and 160gr bullets out of my 7mm-08..
150gr Swift Scirocco 2 @ 2775 with 45gr IMR4007 SSC/Rem9 1/2 Primer and Hornady Match Brass
160Gr Sierra GK @ 2650FPS with 43.5gr IMR4007 SSC/Rem 9 1/2 Primers and Remington Brass
Rifle is a Custom Rem 700 Stainless Action, 1-7 Twist Giallard Barrel(24") Piller and Glass bedded into a Boyds Pepper laminate stock. This rifle shoots better then i do by far but i do have video of me blowing up 500ml Waterbottles are 285 Yards with a 3-9 Lepould VX 2 Canadian Scope with custom turrers for my loads.
Cheers
Josh
What kind of accuracy are you getting? I received some 160GR accubonds and was going to try them with H4350 and H4831.
I broke in that same barrel with some loads from the old barrel. 139 SST , 48gr of W760 , 3030 ft/sec , no pressure signs.Tight chamber sure makes a difference.
