Today I purchased the new S&W Victory 22lr pistol. The pistol is all stainless steel with polymer grips and comes with a match barrel, 2 mags, standard detachable rail as well as a picatinny type rail for red dot scope mounting etc. I really liked the feel and weight of the pistol in my hand. I'm definitely looking forward to shooting it at the range.

My girlfriend and I both purchased the new Victory and are still waiting for the transfer. The pistol has nice weight to it and balanced well, and I really like the 3 dot fiber optic sight. From the reviews I have read this pistol eats just about everything you feed it.The only issue seems to be the take down screw will loosen off after the first hundred or so rounds.Cleaning the screw and hole with solvent and tightening things back up, or a bit of purple loctite should fix that.

Im going to wait for some reviews to come out before I jump. I like my S&W 22A minus the few FTF, But I'm tired of Ruger. But I want something new and tossed up between this or buckmark.

One thing that I forgot to mention in my original post is that S&W went cheap on the case. They ship the Victory in a cardboard box.

I like mine. With target velocity ammo it will shoot out the ten ring at 20 yards all day. Plus it's $100 cheaper than a Mark III.

One thing I did add is a lock washer to the take down screw. I noticed mine would work itself loose after 200 rounds or so.

Easy to clean and the fibre optic sights are great.
