New Optics line development - Need your input

3-12x44 (50) side focus, elevation turret MOA 20 reticle, around 100 moa elevation, around 16oz.

4-16x50 side focus, elevation MOA turret, 20 MOA reticle, 100 moa elevation, around 18-20 oz.

something ultralight .

Lots of $ being spent on ultralight rifles such as the Sako Carbonlight or Ti actions and # 1 contour barrels. People spend thousands on light rifles...but are forced to put on heavy optics. Other then the Leupold vx 2 ultralight there are basically nobody catering to the light weight optics crowd

Something like a swarovski z5 3.5-18x44 copy, perhaps 2.5-12 for power...

In all honesty - A good baseline both form a quality as well as pricing standpoint would be a no-frills fixed optic such as a SWFA SS 10x42 with European glass (Shott?) made by IOR Valdata for below $500 Canadian pesos.

We all heard it before and SWFA is impossible to import into Canada - So with your question regarding input what to have made and than imported - There is a WHOLE bunch of people out there that want something like that.

Just my 0,2€

EDIT:
...and please make it MRAD hashmarks and if you want to be super sassy, add illumination.

Please do not mix MOA and milradians in a scope. Keep MOA reticles with MOA adjustments and mil reticles with mil adjustments. Also, a simple fixed 10x scope with mil reticle and mil adjustments would fill a void. (Although I've been out of the market for a while and I am unsure if anyone is producing these now)

THIS look at the Super Sniper line from SWFA, there's amazing demand for 10 fixed good glass and a not-ridiculous price.
Please make sure adjustments are crisp and mechanisms are brass and durable, and you'll have no problem selling sub-500/600 dollar scopes.

I love my SB 1.5x6x42 with 30 mm tube with a fine glass reticle & would definitely think about getting another.
