I really think you guys should convince MDT to make a TAC 21 for this action. I would buy/ build that combo in a heartbeat!! A Canadian action in my favorite Canadian chassis with the option of changing cartridges at will would be incredible.

They would only have to change the opening where the bolt slides back and add a spot for the side bolt release to the regular 700 design. Just sayin...

It does have a Remington 700 footprint. But there may be some chassis it is not compatible with because of the shorter throw due to the 3-lug bolt head.

US pricing .?

Here's a CAD price:

Hence why I'm saying you should convince MDT to make a TAC21 variant for your action.

This looks like an Ultimatum U300 in an MDT chassis.

Anybody built a rifle on this action yet?

Yes, we do plan on that and already worked with them on an LSS-XL.

Has anybody had their hands on one of these yet? Can you comment on overall quality, machining, smoothness of action, etc?

We have sent these to a number of reviewers now, and hope to see some of these posts online soon.
We are still making some modifications to the actions. We have introductory pricing until the end of December. It should go up a little in January.
