Just curious who has used this ammo and what your thoughts are as far as quality and consistency? FWIW, I would be using it in a Colt Canada IUR with 1 in 7 twist.
their 69gr SMK is better in 1:7 barrels. But it's 2 times more expensive.
Where can you get this ammo ??? I would like to try some!
As for match ammo or match bullets for that matter you have to be:
1) a good enough shot for it to matter.
This would just be for plinking and 3-gun practice. I've never run any match ammo before, I'm guessing that would be advisable for an actual match scenario? Or should I be practicing with the same stuff I would shoot a match with?
Only use Match ammo in a Match gun.... If you are using that gun for a match then why would you use a less accurate round to practice with ? practice makes perfect... only if you can improve on your weakest link so cut out the ammo part but using the same ammo as you would compete with and work on your trigger control, foot work reloading, sight picture, and the rest that comes with competition... My IUR with Norc bulk shoots almost 5in at 100yr vs FIOCCHI at .8.
I don't understand the hype for this ammo. Is it just that it's IMI. Doesn't seem to offer any advantages for the price.
The rifle can shot any ammo you like (true) but why spend the extre on a IUR and cheep out ?
I shot this stuff this summer and got good results out to 300 yards I had few group Moa or below but really the average good is 1.5 ish. Good stuff and the brass is holding up in my reloads.

LOL, didn't you run Norinco ammo through yours in that ammo test?
In a typical range outing I will shoot 200-300 rounds. Match ammo would get too expensive for me at that rate. If I was after that much precision I would have gone with a bolt gun. I just need something that will be reasonably accurate while still being affordable.
