Would a hogue short LOP stock bring a dlask 8.5 below 26 inches. Regular length stock my OAL length is 29 would like to go as compact as possible without being restricted.

26.25" IIRC with the short hogue. The LOP is 12" so you can measure your current LOP, subtract the difference from your OAL and that'll tell you if it'll work.

Just be careful as you might buy a stock and not like it afterwards. I bought one for my Mossberg and I felt so cramped... OEM stock was around 14.25" LOP, I got another at 13.5" (which I kept). The Hogue 12" felt awful. Couldn't rip it off fast enough.

I had a magpul SGA stock on a 8.5". OAL with no spacers is 27.25" LOP is 12.5". The grip angle seems to make it impossible to punch self in the nose with recoil like the hogue.

Just be careful as you might buy a stock and not like it afterwards. I bought one for my Mossberg and I felt so cramped...

X2. I put one on my Beijing 870 to make it extra compact, and realized there was a reason shotguns for adult sized people don't come with a 12" LOP.

If you're going to use a short LOP stock, you need to commit to changing the way you shoot a shotgun. You need to run it the way you run an AR, on the centre line and slightly low, square to the target, elbows low.
