Italian magazines for 1911 and SP01 Shadow

Does anyone have any experience with the quality of the mags that corwin arms is selling? The pricing looks attractive but are they decent quality and will they last as long as a factory or mec-gar?

Thanks for the link. I didn't notice any updates in there from people who actually used them at the range, just guys who've received them but not tried them. Has anyone put a reasonable amount of rounds through them and have any quality/durability comments?
 
Hey there, I personally found them a little too tight for cz shadow. Maybe need more time to break in but soo far after 5 trips still is quite tight to withdraw.
 
I've emailed Martin about it previously and was told something to the effect of "they are made in the same plant that makes mecgar."
Martin is a good guy and I've only heard positive things about those 1911 mags.

I wish I had of seen this post before ordering a 4 pack of CZ Mags. Oh well! Just my find of luck.

I wouldn't worry too much. The other thread reported far more folks that found these mags dropped free easily in their CZ's. Ceejei5 might have a small burr or other tight spot that needs to be relieved on his gun which is not there on the others. Or there may be something about his mag release which is not retracting the lock bar quite far enough so it rubs the mags.
 
looking for the Mec-Gar 17 rnds pinned (no rivet) and the +2 base pads (as depicted in most original Shadow 2 pics).
Sent an email to Reliable Gun (right after they sent me their news letter) and nobody replied back, so much for E-Commerce. lol.

Who has these?
