Heads up on good deal...WSS

That's an awfully small sample size. I'm sure most of us know of grown men that aren't comfortable with a .308 and any bullet weight. I can think of 3 off the top of my head.

Um, without trying to be condescending, who are these three grown men, and what make and model of .308 are they scared of? This sounds like either a first time shooter thing, or an ultra light rifle without a butt pad or some other issue.

Who are they? Doesn't matter. Or did you actually want me to name them on a public forum?

Where in my post did it say anything about being 'scared' of a .308? 'Aren't comfortable' were my words.

How should I know what specific rifles chambered in .308 Win that they have shot that made them decide the .308 Win was too much for them to handle comfortably? Or did you want me to track down these old acquaintances and co-workers from my past and canvass them for the answers...?

Are these guys (or any guy for that matter) not tough enough or cool enough for you because they dislike recoil from a .308?

Aren't student loans for lerning?

Yes, but i can't spend the few bucks in my bank account until i get my loan, because if i don't get the loan (already approved, but there has been a few issues with actually issuing me the money) i need to pay my tuition out of pocket. Otherwise I can't register for next semester when my enrollment date comes.

Yes. That is correct.
Don't want to be out hunting with no girly-man that can't pull her own weight! I'll end up cleaning, cutting, carrying everything....F-THAT!
If the recoil from a .308 is too much then there is always fishing they can get into.

There is also knitting or maybe crochet as well

Mine was shipped today. It will be for my daughter when she is ready, she is due at the end of December. Until then I will work up a good load for it and test it out to make sure it works properly.
