High End Revolvers Korth vs Manurhin

Just to update....Apparently the retailer misunderstood some of the paperwork they got from Manhurin. The MR 73's are not en route and it looks now like they won't arrive until sometime next spring.

Thanks. I was under the impression that both retailers were in the process of bringing these in so some could still be in bound in the shorter term.

Damn! Let's hope they get here before the mandatory UN markings on imports (Bill C-10A) takes effect on June 1st 2017...

I would never buy an expensive firearm with those markings, took care of my german revolver craving so far, leaning toward the CSC 4.25 inch MR88 for my french side of the thing... JP.

the HST hasn't been around for a few years now; it's 7% PST and then 5% GST. The actual blue Korth is gorgeous, if I could afford one, I would be shooting it often.

Online retailers are supposed to collect tax based on your address, not theirs. Some places only charge the tax due in their province, but if the tax man comes looking they'll be on the hook for all the taxes out-of-province purchasers didn't pay.

And i feel sorry for the business that charges the wrong tax on a $7500 gun lol

No dealer can charge more than 5% for a Québec order, if they do, it's an instantaly deal breaker... JP.

Ah. Ok. That will at least give me time to pay off the Christmas bills first if I decide to go for one.

If you need to free up some cash I'd gladly take that P210 Supertarget off your hands. Who needs more than one nice gun anyhow?

I remember consolidating the first time and telling my wife 'I'll be happy with one or two nice ones'. Well, things aren't going according to plan, lol

Tell me about it. Thankfully the revolver bug hasn't bitten me yet, though this thread isn't helping matters.

But revolvers are so much fun......especially the "nice" ones....:)

No doubt, but so are shotguns and biathlon rifles......and every now and then one of those Anschutz 1727F's pops up calling my name. Too many guns and too little time to shoot them all reasonably well.

Agreed! I went out shooting Sporting Clays for the first time in a while, this past weekend, and my 17 year old son embarrassed me.....
Not enough time to be proficient at everything, but it sure is fun trying!
