The Varmints are coming!!!!

Really nice rifles. Does anyone know if a battery assist device (BAD lever) will work with it?

Yes the bad lever does work. I put one on mine but you need to bend it more at the paddle location and then bend to fit rifle

Question. Why would you spend more money and add more trinkets to the rifle? You realize that big long horizontally situated button right above the mag release is the ambidextrous bolt release and is very conveniently placed to press with your trigger finger right?

See I have short fingers so I added the lever for comfort and ease. Without the lever I had to reposition my hand. This way now I just move my finger. Everyone is different and prefers different things

I suppose that's why you have the extended mag release too! :p

Btw. Absolutely stunning 2 tone paint scheme. One of my favorites so far.

Rick, the mods I did to your mags helped. But it didn't solve the fail to feed issue I am having. It seems the follower and the weakness of the spring allow the round to "nose dive" and get hung on the front of the mag. Thus causing the ftf. The amount of plastic I filed off helped, I believe. Out of 60 rounds fired, I had three ftf's. One from each magazine.

That doesn't sound like a lot, but I also tried a LAR15 ten rounder. Zero issues there. I have a couple of Beowolf mags coming this week to try as well.

I just don't have the confidence to try your mags in competition. The LAR's are perfect except for their length. I have a few ideas how I can extend them, but franken-mags don't really give a me a lot of confidence either. I am really looking forward to the Beowolf mags.

I will report back.

I use them and they are very good.

I got the chance to do my first long distance shooting with my MV this week. I had no problems hitting plates at both 350 and 500 yards with it. I put a 1-6 Vortex strike eagle on my MV and after sighting it in wasn't sure how it would perform over 100 yards. After this week I don't have any doubt on how I've got my MV setup. I actually got board of hitting the plates after emptying two mags on each of them.

Just drove 5.5 hours round trip to pick this baby up! Was nice to finally check the shop out, and meet some of you guys. Very impressed with the fit and finish of the rifle, and love the color! Can't wait to get it out and test it.

What is this colour scheme, and did ATRS apply the paint?

thanks.

Can someone please advise what's it like shooting the rifle with just a thread protector?

muzzle flash?
recoil?
blast?

thanks.
