Hi All,

I have been on the search for 6.5mm 140 gr Nosler Partition bullets since I picked up my 6.5x55 SE four years ago. I have always been either too late (sold out) or everything has been backordered. Moderator, please let me know if this isn't allowed, but I finally found some on the Canadian Cabelas website. Have never had luck in store (Cabelas, Bass Pro, Wholesale, etc.), but for some reason they are showing as available online. Not sure how long they will last, but I put my order in and thought I'd mention it in case anyone is looking for this particular bullet.

Cheers,
CK

In this case, I would order online through cabelas if you live close by, They do free shipping to their stores. I have done that with some powders.

The 140 partition works great in the swede. Very accurate in mine.

A 47gr dose of RE:22 out of a T3 /win brass and a Fed mag primer shoots under 1/2" with the 140gr Partition.........Harold

Try Northpro sports in Saskatoon. I believe they are a sponsor and if you check out the website it appears that they have inventory and may have special pricing.

Yes it is the cat's PJ's for the 6.5.x55.......not a fan of "Burger" bullets on game .....too many explosive surface wounds when bone contacted............Harold

That Nathan Foster guy of Terminal Ballistics, treats the accubond and partition as the same projectile......performance on animals wise. Very similar penetration and expansion; the largest differences being the elimination of the annoying habit of the partition to deform because of the exposed lead tip, and the better ballistics of the accubond.

Still though the partition has been around for what ......40-50 years. Still the bullet that all the rest are compared against.

I shot a beauty group out of my Steyr Pro hunter with the Hornady 140gr interlock bullet. First time I had ever loaded these bullets. will load some more this weekend.. FS

I know from experience the Accu-Bond 160gr /7mag will do 40" of moose or deer....recovery weight 136gr...Harold
