John.

Any guestimate timeline for when we could be seeing NR APC in 308?

And is the magazine on the APC proprietary? And way of having a 10 round mag for that rifle or stuck with 5 no matter what...?

Thanks again for all the work put in to this!!

Although you can never have enough 5.56/223 semi-auto rifles ... I'm gonna make due with my Swiss Arms until I see the accuracy + reliability test results ...
Next year the same rifle (non-restricted) in a .308 will be a definite buy for me :)

I have no ETA on the APC308. I don't know which mags or have any details at this time, as I learn more I will post it.

Ya, I'm thinkin the same way. This rifle looks better than my SA, but I cannot see it out performing it and weight is around the same.
BUT... how long can I hold out?? the .308 is intriguing.

I can definitely see your point on that. For me, this is the Swiss Arms i never had...
Why I don't just buy one now is a valid question to which I don't have an answer, but I'm hoping the APC is close to/equal/better than the SA. Should've prob gone with the "tried and true", but got swept up in the marketing campaign that is CGN! No regrets either way though. :)

And you figure that how? From some 5 round groups fired at 100m?
The results look promising, nothing more.

Nice, this killed the thread for 5 days. I'm looking forward to my APC. Barrel twist, cheek pads and stock type is just noise. I'm sure the Swiss experts had some measured thought into the version that is coming to Canada.

Currently have another NR semi 223 on order or I probably would have jumped. Am very interested in the 308 - depending on cost, weight and timing will probably put in an order. They look great and from what I read fit and finish is fantastic.

Sounds from the accuracy testing so far that it already out performs the Swiss arms...

Those posted groups put every other NR semi-auto black rifles to shame...lol... with factory loaded ammo to boot :). I just hope its not picky on mags ;)

Cant wait to do the side by side comparison to the ACR, and X95

So performance, comfort, ergonomics are just noise to you? Awesome, enjoy your new smoke pole.

yeah, can't wait to put it up against a Swiss Arms.

Sounds like a neat idea, what type of comparison would be of interest? I presume you are not thinking positional or off-hand handling which will be affected mostly by shooter performance.

Positional and prone, deliberate shooting from a bagged rest from 100-500m. I would do a fairly extensive test with various factory and handloaded ammo.

Ill test PMC Green tips since I have a metric chit ton of it. Since most people I shoot with dont reload or even care about reloading ill just buy off the shelf 556 hunting ammo and test that as well.

Some of my criterias, Im Hoping the APC will be my new Go to rifle and replace my Tavor.

ease of use. ( so far the Tavor is my favorite )
Balance ( Tavor again )
NR with AR ergos ( ACR wins this )
Reliability ( Tavor and ACR have been 100% )
Magazines
Ammo type and brands
