First two days of the Ontario Controlled hunt

Bucks were working to the calls as it seems they were past the pre-rut stage and have started an early rut phase.
The Rem. 20 ga got some work out and Boy I Love this Gun.

First morning took this scrub buck calling it in with the new QB grunt tube

The second morning same stand I called again and after a few sequences I spot movement from the right of the stand.

I drop the camera after catching the rack coming and grabbed the 20 ga and get set. He catches me moving but leaves a direct shot for the neck and

a shot back towards the stand.

end result !

Great week hunting with Adrian...was a ##### of a job getting those 2 deer out of the bush, especially for us old farts..overall it was a great week...2 bucks and a doe between the 4 of us...thanks again Adrian for a great week at the Turkey Spur Ranch!
