March scopes Canadian distributor?

With exchange and import fees/tax it's not really that practical right now.

I've already scoped this out (no pun intended) pretty extensively, and there presently is no one importing March scopes into Canada. I have three, but had to get them through US sources. Grouse River sold some in the past, but not anymore, and Spartan Precision is also out of the game.

The current US distributor is no longer Kelbly's but instead Bullets.com: http://www.bullets.com/products/category/782550

Their prices are pretty decent, with almost all the March models discounted around 15% from MSRP. Still they're expensive.

The most reliable way to get one would be to purchase from Bullets.com and have it imported by Clay Smiley at Prophet River Firearms. Clay charges a $50 importing fee and handles all the ITAR-related paperwork. Clay tells me that the wait time is considerably less than for imported guns.

It's a shame no Canadian distributor or retailer brings these scopes into Canada. They're absolutely fabulous scopes with some features that no other scopes have (like a 10X power range on some of their variables). I have a couple of the 2.5-25X42 models, and it would be hard to find a better all-around scope.

What do you do for warranty if somehow something fails with the scope? That was my only concern when I was researching getting a March into Canada. Opted for a NF NXS compact from Hirsch instead, but it has less than half the power range (2.5-10X).

You would ship it back to DEON Optical Design Corp. in Japan.
