Bren box mags in Lewis gun?

I read somewhere the Bren's box magazine is compatible with the Lewis gun, but I can't find any further information on this. Can anyone comment on this?

That's not going to work. Lewis gun need drum mag to function. Bren has different feeding system, thus mag can work. youtube has videos of both.

Seems physically improbable. There is no magazine catch for a Bren gun there, how would the mag stay on, and with no sights, why would you want to?

Don't forget there was also a 100rd drum for the Bren. Been looking one for years but have only been able find these in the USA

I figured it was bull, I'd never seen the feed tray of a Lewis before so I wasn't sure.

The Bren has no external lugs as are required by the Lewis to advance the drum.

You'll note that the Bren Drum appears to rotate in the opposite direction from the Lewis.

Completely incompatible.

The updated Lewis with the BREN magazine is pictured and mentioned in the " BREN Gun Saga ".

It was in the trials that reulted inthe adoption of the BREN gun.
