I've had my Australian Lee Enfield No. 1 Mk III for 25 years, and my friend wants to buy it for his son. I got it "straight out of the Cosmoline" so everything matches. 10 years ago I went through the tedious process of steam cleaning, steel wool, and linseed oil. It's now in excellent condition and easily shoots a 2" group at 25 yards (with my bad eyes too!). I'm not really into it anymore, so I don't mind selling it to someone whom will appreciate it like I once did. However I have no idea what a fair price would be now. Any help would be appreciated!

Based solely on your description, without pictures and knowing you've refinished the stock I'd say somewhere in the $500.00 to $600.00 range. More if the stock was still original.
My 2 cents worth.

Thanks! It is still the original stock. No sanding, just steel wool and boiled linseed oil. All of the original markings and battle scars are still intact.

Could go for a bit more. If i was selling it id list it a bit higher then the prices posted above. But if you were selling to a friend and not trying to make money off him, 600$ would be a fair price.

Worthless! (PM me:p)

All joking aside, I believe it may be worth a bit more. If it were mine, I wouldn't feel the least bit guilty about asking for and selling for $800. At that I would believe the buyer got a fair deal.
These aren't made anymore, even the WW2 models with full coach-wood trim intact is a bit of a rarity.

Thats what id ask for it too^^ but if its a friends son, well i guess it depends on the relationship i guess. But sometimes if you know some one they can get lower then full price.
