Nightforce NSX versus Leupold Mark 4

Hands down Nightforce. I have had both and have sold all my Mark 4 and are replaced with Nightforce.
Nightforce has way nicer turrets, 20 moa per revolution on the highspeed ones, a zero stop that is about the best there is . Reticles are in MOA and you can actually get the one that suits you.
Also if you decide to sell a Nightforce they are way quicker to sell than a Mark 4. And hold there value better.

I've got both. I wish I had the "high speed" turrets and zero stop on my NXSs. That said, I do like the Leupold because it's a more compact scope (3.5-10x40mm) which lets you mount it lower on a semi-auto. But I like the fact that illumination comes standard with the Nightforce but the Nightforce is a much bigger and heavier scope all around.

I've got both, but more Mark 4s.

Optically, Nightforce
Zero stop, Nightforce.
Tracking, can't tell any difference.
Weight, Leupold
Price (well my price anyway) Leupold
Turret feel, Leupold
Durability, tied at no failures.

Leupold or Schmidt & Bender

Schmidt and bender vs meopta ? Supposed to be the same glass @ a fraction of the cost , better warranty ? I know lots more to scopes than the glass . Leupold has always been the best I wanted to afford but I have a meopta that I swear has better glass

Pony to pony - the meopta 6-24 does ok , and he likes the 4-16 better

in order to comment on these threads you should have to post a picture of your scope to prove authenticity in your review lol
Having played with both scopes I don't prefer either lol

His testing and review of scopes was second to none. And not just scopes muzzle breaks and other components as well.

In addition to the stuff he tests the summary of what equipment the PRS winners in the top 100, top 50, and top 10 is also very interesting.
