Anybody disappointed in the Shadow 2?

I'm starting to see a few Shadow 2's crop up on the EE and that's got me wondering if any of the early adopters feel they didn't quite live up to the hype?

I love mine! It was actually above my expectations. People shoot for different reasons. It has to be kept in mind that this IS a competitive handgun. It weighs 47 oz and is a beast with minimal recoil and a phenomenal trigger pull. Definitely not a carry gun if you are in the USA (it will pull your pants down), and too heavy for IDPA. If you do not shoot IPSC, this may not be for you, however, if I didn't shoot IPSC, I would still want this gun as the quality and refining that was put into this, you only see in custom guns, not off the shelf production ones for $1,300! Will I ever sell mine? Probably at some time, as I constantly change my firearms, but that is not because the shadow 2 disappoints any of my expectations.

I enjoy mine. It shoots good and I am performing much better with it than my Glock for IPSC. Only thing is it doesn't fit my hands very well. The grips are too thin so I got some thicker grips. The front dust cover also gets dirty quickly on the grey one which sucks.

No complaints for me. I am also finding alot of people who are selling them just bought them because everybody wanted one and they took the gun away from somebody who wanted one.

The only ones that I've seen show up on the EE so far are NIB which would lead me to believe that there are other reasons behind the sale.

I have seen lots of a Shadow 1s come up on the EE - as was predicted by many of the CGN community.

I don't like it as much as my old Shadow. It doesn't fit in my hand as well and I find it harder to quickly pick up the sights. I have had mine up for sale with no takers. I may try to use it again if I can get different grips for it, but for now I'm using my old gun

Love mine!

Grip and weight feels amazing. Shoots super flat with minimal felt recoil. Took a while to get use to the smaller Fiber optic, but now that I am my accuracy has improved a fair bit over my Shadows larger Fiber optic.

Will likely pick a second one up down the road as my main match gun and use the one I currently have for practice. Think it is a lotta gun for the price especially when compared to some of the more expensive competitors models.

I'm right in line behind you on that... Those urban gray are starting to look nicer, that's how bad it's gotten. lol

When I was first offered the urban grey over the blue I was hesitant, but I am actually really glad as it is an awesome finish that seems really durable, and it really stands out against my other blued guns. If I was to go back in time and had a choice, I would now pick the urban grey!

I liked the urban grey right away. My LGS has one in stock, fondled it a bit, it's a work of art at $1400. Well above the boring old competition in that price range IMO. Just got my reloading set up going so I'm going to have to wait a bit for the gun budget to regenerate.

For every win their is a win. I picked up a virtually new Shadow for less than I paid for a Shadow several years ago. The trigger is not what my old gun was but some shooting will solve that. The Shadow2 is a great pistol built for IPSC. I am not sure why anyone would buy the gun if you didn't shoot IPSC. I am sure some would, just not sure why. I can use my Shadow in club IPSC matches and some other IPSC like events that may be shot locally with a little help from my friends. Nothing too serious just for fun.

I can't imagine anyone not liking the gun. CZ pistols, no matter the model are really well made. The gun sells for less here than it will in the US.

Take Care

I want to love mine as I do my Shadowline but had a weird problem right out of the gate which is disappointing. Took it to the range once, shot a box through it, took it home to clean, then realized it was missing the barrel bushing. It either fell out (hard to imagine that) or was never there from the factory (if it will even shoot like that, anyone know?). So,... Now I am in warranty purgatory, who knows how many months that will take...
Anyway, check your guns when you get them guys, I feel foolish if it was never there, didn't realize it and I shot it anyway...

I liked the urban grey look better right from the start. I like mine. Need to shoot it more to really get a feel for it, but I find it hard to miss with it so far. :)
