jrc decisions

Already have a railed. Removed it and put on the takedown tube purchased seperately. Really want a marine takedown.

My local gun shop has the basic black quad rail and the marine takedown in stock. I'm not a fan of the marine finish but the for end felt better. I doubt I'd take it down so I'm wondering if it's worth the extra money. Are there poi shifts when taken down and reassembled?

Not to be a dink but isn't the Thureon defense a nicer 9mm carbine? I've been debating whether to buy a pistol carbine and keep leaning towards the Thureon defense rifle

Out of the Jrc, Beretta storm, Tnw Aero, and thureon I liked the Jrc the most. It's the only one I haven't shot but I like the fit and feel the most. It's also backed by a company who stands behind what they sell. I'm still debating whether to get a 40 or a 9mm. Figured I'd narrow down the model first

I think I'm going to get a quad rail in 9mm. I doubt I'd use the take down feature very often and having 9mm pistols a common ammo seems easier than stocking on both 9 and 40.

Hi, I just bought a JRC-Kryptek 9mm from SFRC promo. Tried the night I received it, no failure (ftf/fte) with Blazer and my reload. But . . . my issue is with the tube (hand-guard loosening) affecting the BBL and therefore the accuracy. Now I wish I've bought the fixed model instead. But the thing is the newer JRC (longer and better looking hand guard) is not available here in Canada. I can only tighten the tube to a degree but with no positive design to luck it, I'm it will only loosen again. My plan-B is to keep checking the tube every mag change, speaking of magazine, mine came not with a original Glock magazine . . . just a heads up. I'm thinking of ordering the 13 inch hand-guard direct from JRC but it only comes in black (I have a Kryptek T/D), there's goes the savings from the promo! I would stay away from a T/D unless you can come up with a way to prevent the tube from loosening but can be undone as design for transportation. Lastly don't buy the JRC sling bag, expensive and don't have a positive strap adjustment, not worth the money, I ordered one (Kryptek of course), I will have to modify it using velcro or something.

I ordered from them the longer hanguard, flsh hider and the quick detach buffer tube. It looks great and the quick detach buffer tuber helps a lot for cleaning! Hanguard is nice and super light!! Way lighter than the quad rail i had. Gun is super accurate but heavy, didn't help that i have a rds magnifier on it i guess.

The takedown model is nice and easy to clean but the takedown tube does come loose easily after a few quick shots no matter how hard I tightened. I ended up doing this weird anticlockwise C-clamp on the JRC to keep the takedown tube from loosen up. Since I got the takedown buffer upgrade I will just replace it with a rail in the future. JRC is a good gun actually... Very simple design and don't need a lot of caring. Kinda heavy though. I wish there are ways to make it lighter... I can use a lighter rail but pretty much that's it...
