375 Ruger

in todays workd i do not think someone is buying because of ammo avaibility or caliber history ...

if more affordable rifles were available for left hand users i will have gone the hh way, but the ruger came with stainless and plywood stock and very good open sights. not for everybody but it worked for what i was looking for and the price was a steal if we compare with today price tag and it was only 2 years ago ....

375hh has a great history but i can tell the 9.3x62 has a longer one but was on the wrong side of history nothing can beat that ....

the princess is doing well for a new caliber the real king is the 9.3x62 or like the sect lovers called it the .366 wagner ....

I did...... I watched the originating company that created the rifle and named it after itself discontinue two models....... In the sales and marketing world "statements" don't get bolder than that.......

You see, you don't actually pay attention, you just see something and don't understand it, then jump to some unfounded conclusion.

Ruger introduced the 375 Ruger in:

The No 1, which is discontinued at this point, but Ruger does that with many cartridges and does special runs, so nothing new here A(if you pay attention)

The Alaskan with a Hogue stock- replaced by the Guide gun with a laminate stock

The African- Still available.

And they have added the "Hawkeye" to the line up.

Ruger started with 3 options and they still have 3 options, and all of them are available in LH actions, too. Offering LH actions is another indicator of sales, BTW (if you pay attention)

I feel for your lefty needs Phil........ and .375 ruger in your hands will no doubt do a lot of damage....... and you won't be lacking as compared to the H&H....... it's a great cartridge.....

There is room in our world for many cartridges...... hell, look at the 30 cal world........

But nothing is the "new king"..... and nothing makes anything else obsolete until us users stop buying them...

So....... where are your stats on how much they are selling?...... I bought a new m77 in 35 Whelen recently...... fail to see your point......

The #1 is a niche market at $1800 for a single shot....... even I can admit that......

If they make it more available, that's awesome.... gives us all more choices.....but to declare that it's taking over.... I will leave that to you

But I believe the Alaskan is discontinued, the African maybe as well (but I could be wrong) and the #1 is special runs only for everything........

I'm sorry, I tried. But I can't help you with your comprehension issues.

Nor can I with you..... you made a direct statement that the .375 ruger was outselling the .375 H&H......... you have t backed it up....

I made no such claims on the H&H vs the Ruger and simply asked you to provide data to support your assertion....... which you have yet to do....... you also deny or deflect / refuse to accept that the very manufacturer of the cartridge is discontinuing models......

If you like the cartridge, then good for you...... and if you like the rifles it comes in, then even better, I absolutely agree with you........

If you think it's some kind of cartridge revolution, sorry.......

I have explained it best I can to you. But you don't seem to be able to comprehend it. If you want, you can do your own research and come to the same conclusion I have, but that might require some effort.

Not at all. I explained that they discontinued some, replaced them with others and ADDED more LH options. Ruger now has 3 RH and 3 LH options instead of 1 single shot, 1 LH and 2RH

If you think it's some kind of cartridge revolution, sorry.......

Well, actually, it is. You just aren't able to comprehend what is happening, even though it's happening right in front of your face.

Lmao...... enjoy your rifle and cartridge...... some of what you listed is now discontinued...... but who am I to inject facts into an emotional discussion?.....

Glad the left handers have an option (for now since Ruger is discontinuing models).... it's a good cartridge.......

Nice.... I Am a huge Ruger fan...... show me where I can actually buy one at a regular place of sale (not some joint that has one they need to unload).... then you may pique my interest...... I have a unicorn for sale too..... require a down payment though......

Once again- do your own research if you want a rifle.

I didn't make assertions...... you did....... asking you to back up your "facts" is not unreasonable.... I do have a nice Ruger in .375 H&H........ I got it easily........ I can share a pic or two......

If you didn't do your research before making your statement, then just say so........ it's not on me to prove a false statement you made...... and I have no desire to chase a unicorn (or lack there of) based on your assertion....... you made the statement, it's on you to back it up.....

If nothing else, I would expect you to share a source of rifles in such a wonderful caliber with your followers...... no?

Brad, the facts are there if you want to look for them. If you don't believe, me, that's fine, but I wouldn't have said it if it wasn't true.

Here are some tips on doing research on finding rifles:

Try using a telephone.

You could also do a google search, or even search CGN.

Prophet River just got a Ruger shipment in, they always get some 375 Ruger rifles in. I would call quick though, as they are so popular, you don't want to be disappointed!

Look at that, I did half your research for you already. That wasn't so tough now, was it?
