Hi all,

I came across this interesting looking old bolt action in a book, and was wondering if anyone had an idea of what it might be. The stock looks similar to a Mosin, but magazine doesn't look right. Appreciate any help.

Manllicher M 95. Standard Austro Hungarian rifle of ward war 1. Judging by the photo soldier also wears Austro-Hungarian uniform.

Thanks guys! Now... to see where I can get my hands on one.

Bunch of them are still in use in the old country. I keep seeing WTS/WTB adds pop up once in a blue moon online on their websites. It's also pretty common to see these rifles converted to smooth bore "Frolovka" hunting rifles back there. Good luck trying to find one here.
