I have the green four pocket 24 oz recycled wool pants and I have been eyeing up the Merino wool cargo pants. I'm conflicted if they will be warmer than the 24 oz regular recycled wool or if I should just go right to the plaid 100% wool pant or bib.

I was having the same issue on which to get. I've read that Merino wool is much softer and you get more warmth with less weight and it won't be as scratchy feeling as normal wool. In the end I went with the 100% wool pants myself because I like the buttons to put suspenders. Also picked up one of the vests, had to call to get sizing chart of vests and they asked how I heard of them. Told them that Canadiangunnutz sent me and they told me about the current coupon code: BLACKFRIDAYINSIDER
 
Thanks for the tip Sarkhan. Just ordered some pants, but the BLACKFRIDAYINSIDER code didn't seem to make a difference. They didn't subtract an extra 5%.

Went to online chat. Sure enough, the code didn't take, but it was fixed up lickity split. Great (Canadian) customer service. Thanks OP.

I used to love Woolrich, they used to have some great wool shirts and pants.... but now I find their stuff is mostly off shore cotton or cotton blend and the prices are crazy especially when you add the exchange.
These worked out to half price or less.

The last time I owned something Woolrich the brand meant good quality, but now it says high price more than it means anything else.

The Merino pants have the buttons for suspenders.
