I could do that research for you if you like...... I bet they are sunshine club members for the most part...... but fail to see what that has anything to do with....... I simply stated that CO incomes are not six figures...... and you told me I was thick headed..... so I pointed you in the right direction..... thick head and all.....
Regardless of how much they make, a part of their job is checking hunters out and ensuring there is no poaching happening and that firearms are being used and transported safely and correctly....... so, glad they are earning their salaries......
I sincerely hope that when the deep fryer "dings", that you pull the fry basket out of the oil and apply the appropriate amount of salt...... I don't like my fries burnt and too salty....... and I expect anyone that works for a living to earn their salary by performing their duties properly.......
Sometimes it's fun when a troll backfires and everyone can see them for what they are....... and witnessing them continuing to make an arse of themselves in a thread thinking they are accomplishing something is fun too.......

Used to be government employees who made over 100,000/year now that seems to be minimum wage in Ontario for government employees.

I have yet to meet one that was anything close to friendly.
I never heard it called the 'sunshine club' before, I think it's more commonly called the 'sunshine list'. In Ontario, public sector salaries in excess of $100,000.00 annually are a matter of public record. I posted a link to a searchable list in an earlier reply to this topic. You can find it here.
Mnr has a huge amount of land to cover with few officers. They definitely set up road checks in funnels and keep their eye on previous offenders. A big part of their role is just showing presence in their regions. Most officers I have encountered have been curteous and professional. I feel most work hard for their pay, and do a great job curbing poachers.

I bin stopped a few times twice with fish cops had guns drawn well we wear on fish wars but that's part of living on a small island we get all the hot heads looking for a pissing contest just don't go there you can't win

Getting stop is no big deal if your legal just smile and do what thay ask
I first time we wear fighting over fish allocations trying to get them cut back as DFO and Ottawa was allowing to much fish to be caught
Sumone called DFO and the RCMP and told them that we wear poaching abalone and we wear armed
We got polled over on ar way to pick up supplies for the boat turned out the real abalone poachers drove by us laughing at us Indian
The Abolone poachers wear the ones that called DFO to keep them busy with us well thay got away
Now that I'm older and not getting in to trouble any more thay leave me alone it's just part of growing up

To get back on topic I have a freind of mine from work who grew up near north bay and said there has been a big increase in mnr, police contact for fisherman hunters recent years.
