I was just on their webpage, a trued SS rem is gonna cost me $1050, Hirsch has a Pierce for $1150.
Maybe I'll go that route.

Go pierce all the way you won't regret it. I've built a couple rifles on pierce actions and they are super nice. Very tight tolerances as well. Just make sure if you get a timney trigger you get the one meant for clone actions.

Well guys ,thanks for your help.
it turns out that the cost of a SS rem action and truing,is not much cheaper than a custom clone.
I've decided to go with a Pierce.
