Hi folks,
Yesterday I bought a colt 1911 that appear to be made in 1918, I think that all parts is original to the gun except the magazine from what I read is a Springfield,
the bore is in good condition and the blue is almost gone

Can someone tell me more?
What is the value of this one these days?
Thanks for your help

Very nice find! You don't see many original USGI M1911s, many are parked and have A1 parts mixed in during refurbishment. Couldn't give an exact value but I suspect 2000ish in the current market.

Thank you , 2000$++ is what I am thinking Collector source have one priced at 3000$ but it's on the high side ,
this gun was in a safe for the last 30 years and doesn't have shoot a round in this time.
And for the magazine , no body have a Idea ? I found only one similar , is on e-bay and the guy ask 400$ usd for?????? It supposed to be a scarce one

You have what collectors consider a black army finish, they want to speed up production and inturn made cuts in the blueing process compared to the earlier high polish amdbrush blued finish. Everything looks correct as I can see, on the price side I recently sold the nicest one I've ever seen for 2850, it had 90% of its finish left with very little marks or wear. Nice pistol and nice piece of history.

Do you think 2000$ is ok ?
I don't want to sell but just know is real value

Two grand is probably pretty close. I think the magazines for the 1911 of that era were known as two tone mags by Colt collectors owing to the heat treatment of the top end. I think you can make out a slight two tone colour in yours.
