Getting A .375 H&H. (Ouch & Ouch) Took 'Er Home! W/More Pics

You will love it. Try some 270's first. if you hand-load, you can load to many power levels. Recoil is not as bad as some will leave to believe, unless the rifle weigh less than 6 LBS.

Here is mine, CZ Safari Magnum: (The moose did not like it, dropped on the spot)

That looks like a nice find. A real classic! Be careful, .375's are so much fun and so versatile you might be like me end up with more than one.

That is a very nice 375. Top that with a Leupold 1.5-5 and you're set.

I've owned both the 602 and M98 in a 375Magnum and the the 98 was the better choice. The smaller & lighter action makes a better carry.

Holy crap! It knocked the skeleton right out of that moose! Everything go into burger?

That's a beautiful classic rifle OP, great pickup........... couple of other nice examples with the Sako and the CZ.......

It is certainly one of my favorite cartridges to shoot.......

I'll be getting paid 3 times this month so i'll be taking it home with in the next two weeks. It will make a great companion for my CZ 550 LUX in .270win. More pictures will come when I get it home.

I have a set of un used .303 British RCBS FL dies and a bunch of .303 British once fired brass. Most of it is Canadian Ranger brass with a mix of Federal and Winchester. I was thinking of posting it on the EE for trades for .375 H&H dies and some brass. Although I think 200 once fired .303 British brass might get me 20 .375 H&H brass. Maybe 10... I looked around and no one has .375 H&H brass in the stores so the only other option would be to buy a box of factory ammo or wait it out until a store gets some.

So what has this thread become........a lets show off our 375s thread?

3M...thought I had an extra set of dies but unfortunately I used them to make 375-350RM dies. Let me scrounge around my loading room and I can likely come up with 50 or so R-P brass for ya, if R-P is OK with you? I managed to pick up 300 W-W brass a while ago so I can likely let some R-P brass go.

Okay I'll play...............

This is my working 375 H&H

And this is my real pretty 375 H&H

Then there's my Zastava LKM70 FS Carbine 375 H&H Magnum that I still have but couldn't resist getting it re-barreled to .416 Remington Magnum. Anybody need a 20" 375 H&H Magnum barrel? :p
