Wife got her whitetail buck

Were you able to recover the bullet? I'm always curious to hear about TTSX performance because I shoot them myself. If it did exit, how large was the exit hole on your wife's deer? So far I've been able to eat the deer that I've shot with them pretty much right to the wound channel ,,,,so little or no wasted meat. What's been your experience with them?

Bullet exited and left about a 2" hole on the exit side and about 3/4" hole on the entrance. I've personally shot about a dozen animals with this load and only recovered one bullet so far, shot a big bodied bull moose on the Yukon/bc border the bullet traveled over 4' quartering angle and came to rest on the opposite side against the hide. That same trip I killed a massive bull caribou at 305 yards and the bullet exited as well. They hard to keep inside the animal and as long as you don't shoot the meat they are very meat friendly.

Wow and damn pretty too.You might want to hang on to that girl,and to think my wife can't even take a mouse out of a trap
 
Actually OP, I hope she decides to keep you. Ladies with those skill sets are very often overlooked or cover them up. Lucky for her you let her be who she is and lucky for you she is.

Good for both of you. Your kids will be learning from some great parents.
