Everyone should wear a helmet ALWAYS because it's for your safety. All objects that can harm you should also be banned or covered in bubble wrap. Hell we should be mandated to be covered in bubble wrap before we go outside.

. Helmets mandatory on horseback next ? Quads don't jump sideways when a grouse blows up in front of them

They maybe should give fines to parents who don't helmet up their toddlers and elderly people

It may be a good idea but does the government have parental rights on us ? I guess they do.

Big brother is watching and writing tickets . Big brother is an a#*hole

We have always had to wear helmets here in NS, I just use a half bucket helmet like the Harley guys use it enough to be legal and I still have me ear uncovered and nothing in the way of getting a good cheek weld when I shoulder the rifle.

the only time I don't wear a helmet is plowing my driveway or working around the yard. I have no problem putting on a helmet on an ATV. I don't need a law to tell me to wear one. you only have to see one friend with a split open skull from a low speed roll over to make you want to wear one all the time. A cheap modular helmet works great.

Always had to do that here in Ontario. We were just stopped recently by the local constabulary while out grouse hunting. One of the things they checked were helmets and if they were actually done up.

I own a property with two drive ways 200 feet apart, got pulled over going to my second driveway to open my gate. Got off with a warning because he asked where I was coming from and where I was going? Pointed with both hands to both drive ways.

Yup.....can not figure out why people take their safety not seriously.

It is mandatory here as well. I was hauling my quad on a trailer and got a flat tire. Since I did not want to leave my quad, my father-in-law decided he would drive it home. He never wore a helmet, and about a minute later got pulled over by an officer and got a ticket. But, for some reason, there is no mandatory law to wear an helmet on a snowmobile, or a side-by-side. Weird.

Creeping Liberal Socialism. Welcome to the ever growing NANNY state where the government will continually tell you what is best for you, because in their opinion, you need to be protected from yourself. The U.S. has shown they have had enough of it, so lets see how long it takes Canadians to grow a set of balls and tell those Libtoids enough is enough.
