depriming brass

I have what may be considered an odd question....

I have a bunch of rounds of different caliber that I have picked up at a local range.....I have pulled the bullets and dumped the powder....some of the brass is good and can be re-used while others not so much.

where my problems come in is I don't have a .223 or a .40 gun I can use to discharge the primer....is there a safe way to do this, as I want to re-cycle the brass that is no good for re-loading (might as well get some money towards a new gun)

have u a press-?- or decapping rod- it's hard fast blow to the cap that makes the primer detonate-so you drill a hole in a piece of wood slightly larger than the primer, and come in from the ANVIL side of the primer with an object that fits through the flashole0 you then tap gently on the rod and the primer will come out and down the hole
2 CAVEATS- being range brass , you have NO IDEA how many times it's been fired,
and if there's a primer crimp you're out of luck with this method
personally, i'd just junk it for TRUSTED brass
 
Drop your primed brass into a can of oil to neutralize the primer. Toss into recycle pail or deprime the case if its good.
 
Just sell it as is. I size (de-prime) the range brass and it does not matter a bit if it is fired or primed brass.

If you want to de-prime yourself, all you need is a long enough nail of small enough diameter. Blunt and round the tip a bit. Place the case over a hole on your bench, or across a crack in an slightly open vice jaw, and tap the nail/punch with a hammer. The primer will pop right out.

I have de-primed over a thousand primed cases and never set one off.
