The topic has probably floated around a couple of times, because this gun isn't exactly "new" (although it's still current production and issue). But it came up again as an aside in the "Picture of the Day" thread in the Milsurps forum.

Exactly what would it take to have an NR, semi-auto only version in Canada? Either imported or locally license made?
I'm just fascinated by the design. There are a lot of very intelligent aspects to it, in terms of ergonomics and ease of maintenance/takedown. To be frank, the design intrigues me more than the other Bullpups on the Canadian market.
Anyone have any thoughts? Ideas? Has this gun gotten a serious look-over by anyone here?
