Its not too bad. I got it done in about 3hrs. Just work slow, and do multiple fitment checks.
I have noticed the occasional ftf but it only seems to happen when someone else is shooting my sks... too gentle I think.
I have been loading 9 rounds in my xcr's to break them in and like that it seems to work very well.

A short vid on how to modify the SKS to accept the AR mags. This shows the areas to modify & we threw in a cool build with some Trueshot & Kicklite products as well....

Our adapter isnt for everyone, just those who love their SKS & want a 10 round capacity, ability to load full stripper clips, drop free detachable box mags & the ability to use any AR mag, AR mag coupler or any other AR mag accessories....

Bit of a rookie here.

I understand the pistol mag "loophole" but are there any concerns (legally speaking) over modifying a rifle with aftermarket parts, and dremels and files, to accept said pistol mags?

I want to do this mod but like life on this side of the steel bars.

Thanks.

The law is silent on the matter. You cannot modify the magazine, as that could make it a prohibited device, but changes to the mag well of a firearm do not change its classification.
