Fabarm barrel messed up ...who knows what made this pattern deep in the bore

My vote would be for reamer chatter as well. If the barrel is fairly old, someone may have tried to ream out some pitting. Alternately tried to ream a short forcing cone and or choke to longer tapers with not enough cutting oil or perhaps just a very hard barrel

Those marks were made by the tool used for internally threading a shotgun bbl for a choke. The tool is quite large and fits inside the muzzle with a pilot to keep it straight to the bore. Most likely the person who did the work screwed up using the tool and it chattered, which is what caused those marks.

If you end up using it in the bush a lot you'll love carrying it, its light and comfortable to carry around. When I had a red dot on it it was a laser out to 80yrds with cheap Winchester 2 3/4 slugs, it has always impressed me. It's one of the best gun purchases I decided to make, I highly recommend buying chokes for it.

Was wondering about a sight, but like my longbow , once you get a feel, that blade front is just for ref. lol
