0 MOA rail options for a Savage 10 .223?

Hey guys~never did like the bases on my .223, and with a possible scope switch-up happening soon, I'm thinking I'd like to put a 0MOA rail on there first. I've never bought one before, so I'm looking for suggestions. I trust ejection isn't an issue with any of them.

Would appreciate any ideas, photos, links, etc.

but why a flat rail when a 20 moa would give you more usable elevation on your scope

I think I have bought about 3 or 4 EGW and one Weaver rail for Savage 10 or 110 over the years. They are all good.
The Weaver might be prettier. (;-)

The EGW base is going for $65 at one place I looked. Not sure about the Weaver.

Farrell and Near are two brands to consider.

Brownells has lots of options, including less-expensive (than Farrell and Near) options. I'd start looking there.

Hirsch or mystic precision have egw along with other options. Try them before brownells.

Personally I'm going with a Nightforce Xtreme 20 MOA rail on my Remington 700 22-250

Same question? 20 MOA rail will give you extra elevation, which may not be needed now, but may come in handy later if you shoot to longer distances. I went with a Warne 20 MOA steel rail for my Savage 10.
