Im looking for a reliable semi auto .22 mag. To take on the trapline, the CZ 512 in .22mag has got my interest but Ive got no experience with this model.

Any reports on this model?

Anyone else?

Im also considering the Savage A22

I can't speak about a CZ autoloader, I do find their bolt guns quite addicting.

I have a Savage A17 Target Sporter and it has been extremely accurate and I've yet to have a stoppage with 400 rounds through it and not cleaning it yet....kind of a torture test to earn my trust, and it's doing quite well.

Since I bought a Rem 597mag , I've been a total 22mag fan.
This CZ 512 22mag recently popped up in my searches.
Nicely done wood stocks as well as a tactical version.
10rd stacked mags supposedly available .
There's a few YouTube reviews ( not the best presentations , but ...)
The 512 22mag has my interest .. just gotta work up the "coin".

They have certanly got my interest now as well, they are kinda pricey tho.

I have had mine in wmr for a couple of years. Its a well built gun made to last. I keep it clean and never had any issues with it even in -25 C. No jamming or stove-piping. It ejects empties probably 15 feet. No issues using 10 round mags either. The trigger came at about 5.5 lbs but with some polishing (see Rimfire Central) and usage it is down to about 3.5 lbs with noticeable creep. The 512 can be disassembled for cleaning very easily removing only 1 bolt and a pin. The rifle is accurate for a semi in 22wmr but not as accurate as CZ bolt actions (about 0.75 in at 50 yd). The only thing I didn't like was the polymer charging handle, I got an aluminium one from Dlask for about $20. Hope that helps.

Can't speak to the 512 in magnum but I am very pleased with my LR version. Very reliable and and a lot of fun to shoot. They are a tad pricy and the mags are stupid expensive. Bought mine with my CT points. Cody is right about the charge handle, a very cheap feature on an otherwise very nice firearm.
