As the title states, I want to buy a boyds stock. I need a higher cheek rest. I don't want to damage this beauty stock.

The only options seem to be boyds...

Now, this rifle has the front barrel lug. Also is stamped CZ 452 2E ZKM, but has the heavy profile barrel like the varmint (slight taper) and the American stock.

Sold to me as a 452 Varmint 22lr.

I just want to make sure I Don't buy a stock that does not fit my rifle. Any help on what this is exactly and the stock model option that will fit it is appreciated... See pics for a better look!

The 452 "bolt action-clip feed-bull barrel" model is what I ordered when I wanted a stock designed for the CZ 452 Varmint. That was back in the spring of 2015, before they made a stock for the 452 American. I wanted a Pro Varmint stock for my 452 American so I bought and I modified the Boyds 452 Varmint stock, which has the barrel lug, to fit the 452 American by drilling a hole for the rear action screw. It was shortly after I got the Boyds 452 Varmint stock that Boyds began making the 452 American stock. In any case, the 452 "bolt action-clip feed-bull barrel" model is the one you want for a 452 Varmint.

Edit: If you don't need the $100 - $125 selling a stock fetches, keep the original stock just in case you ever want to return the rifle to its "original" form.

SO the base 452, drill my own barrel lug hole ? I plan on getting the pro varmint.

I don't plan on selling the stock lol.

The 452 "bolt action-clip feed-bull barrel" model (Boyds description of it) is the stock for the 452 Varmint. As such, it has the barrel lug hole to accommodate the 452 Varmint's barrel lug screw.

Yes, the hole for the lug screw comes pre-drilled from Boyds......Once you configure the stock at Boyds webpage, the page will give you the spacing between both action screws. In your case, it should give you the dimension between the main action screw and the barrel lug screw. Check the value against your rifle and if they are the same, you are set. Prety straight forwards.
