i live in Quebec and there no rifle on sell in my Canadian Tire oh ya wait im in Quebec dont have to ask why lol
Bruh Cantire on southland has them...you're in south calgary...go there. They got some decent guns. Last I was there they also had federal champion 525 22lr's for $32 which is a decent price these days
So far that has not happened. Look at Norinco - they have been marking rifles for export to Canada for years now. I own at least two rifles that are marked according to the idiotic UN guidelines and I certainly did not pay an extra $200 for each of them. The MFG simply marks them at the time of export. There is noting in the regulation against that. With surplus rifles, someone will have to mark them but it will not cost anywhere near what has been claimed. It could easily be done by the exporter as part of their process of packaging the rifles.
Our local( Nova Scotia) CTC seem to be one upping each other!! When on shop gets a nice selection and bigger display cabinets, the others try to out do it and back and forth!! There is one in the Valley and near Bridgewater and our Bayers lake CTC! The just got back from a North Sylva expo in Toronto where they bought a ton of rifles and shotguns, lots of different rigs coming and some Chinese SKS in the mix! They are also bringing in those new EM 332 .22, and as I said before they have around a hundred SKS in stock! So no shortage that we can see, he said he can order more SKS any time he wants! If Cabelas doesn't have any, it is because they don't want to sell them anymore!
I wonder if The USA will start importing them now that Trump is in power. That will surely impact our supply....
What are the Chicom SKSs going for and what condition are they?
Oh man don't do that, there are so many places on line with better rifles at better prices, shop around, don't take their last crappy sample for way too much money! My CT is down to one crusty SKS and one hex MN (for $253 plus taxes). I am going to check out the 91/30 this weekend.
