Hello
My Savage BGTVXP Cabelas package , .22lr . Got it while it was on sale for $100 off the current price . I've added the bipod , and since then upgraded the bipod to a 6 to 9 inch pivot model .
Next up for upgrade is the glass , and i have a home for the cheap Bushnell on there now .
About a hundred rounds thru it now , shoots nice . Better than i am right now for sure . But thats what practice is for

Hang on to the original stock!

^^ No kidding. Why screw it up with tactical BS.

Not screwing it up, preserving! hahahaha. The original stock is not going anywhere. I didn't expect to find such a nice stock, this was ment to be a tree rat hunting machine. I have stacked up 27 and one season with it. Time to preserve the beauty stock. I would never forgive myself if I damaged it crashing around in the bush or nicked it on the cement bench at the range.

EDIT/UPDATE

Maybe wont get a pic of the boyds stock. My ancient drill bit the dust, cant install cheek riser... Went to just drop rifle into new stock... The trigger guard screws heads both came clean off screwing into the wood... Drill was done, couldn't get them out. Ended up using some wood screws I had laying around and just sunk them in next to the old ones... Relized that was a bad idea... Out buyin a new drill and bits on boxing day... Until then I can only hope I didn't mess up the stock to much to make the guard fit tight, clean and flush... lol
