If it was 264th and 48th Ave that was me - if not, you might have other problems...
I'm also happy to report that the meat was not spoiled. I think the combination of it being a smallish bull, short haired, and the damp (but not wet) ground at 5oC combined to pull the heat out of it quickly enough. There was just a touch of questionable meat at the hip socket of one of the rear hams - the ham that was not against the ground - so the dog got those trimmings (and it wasn't much lost). Everything else has been excellent.

Ya it was you, my wife takes riding lessons from the rancher friend. Actually got the story from her first. Then I opened this thread and soon realized it was the same story.
