Pocket Pistol Report

This thread is depressing... I WANT!

No the 12(X) thread on the EE is depressing. A guy just sold a pair of colt police positive for 250. I would pay that for one!...if only colt gave a few more millimeters... Then there is that reoccurring post of "most still in box" of awesome guns. At least most are sold and only the ones I could not afford any way are left

Man, it would be great to have a brother like you.

The snubby .38 is the nastiest handgun I've ever shot. Snappy and inaccurate, I've had enough after 10 minutes. I've got a couple of .32 autos which are much more pleasant.

This is the best I can do, 12(7)'s, blood takes care of blood.

It's funny, but before they attained 12(6) status, and even in the US at one time, those older Beretta 1934s (like the one illustrated) in either .32 ACP or .380 ACP, were just cheap pistols, plentiful, and not all that popular.
You could by them dirt cheap before 12(6) reared it's ugly head.

Now, according to Mike B. (Duelist1954) in this video below, they have become a hard-to-find classic.

Also, it seems pretty ridiculous that a standard .38 special, Model 10, 4" S&W police revolver, which was probably the most common revolver in North America, is a 12(6) prohibited firearm. (similar to revolver pictured)

How times change.

A couple of 1934's in 380 went for $200 each at an auction 2 weeks ago. A 1935 (32 auto) went for $75. But the prices can climb and can get close to $400 if there's 2 guys that both want it.

I try not to have regrets in life as I believe it bogs a person down.

That said, I do regret not getting my license earlier and getting a snub nosed pistol. A 12.5 on the license would be soooo nice :)

(E)

If I took the time to try and post pictures I could show you my latest, a nib with all the extras NAA mini revolver in l.r.

had a 22mag black widow that I let a fellow talk me out of a few ago and really miss that thing., you could ever shoot a good group with it, target sights.

Here is a few of my 12.6
Top right are a FN1900 and 1922, and a Baby Browning. Underneath them a couple of Savages. In the middle a Colt Model 1903, with a Bulgarian Makarov under it. And at the bottom a Astra A-80 in 45acp (an excellent gun).
On the top right are a derringer in 22lr, and one in 38 special. Under them a snubby 44 mag, and 38 special 3", and the evil baby killing 32 s&w.
