Rossi 44 Rem Mag Ranch Hand

Well, I already have mine. I call it my "Jeep gun", and it doubles for a "boat gun", "atv gun", "hiking gun", "on the road gun", "off-road gun", "just cause gun", etc etc.

I handload for it, and with reduced loads it's just a pleasure to shoot. Factory loads are exciting and you can really feel the power, and they are also very controllable, but I like the handloads. This gun has better ballistics than a .44 magnum handgun! I removed the "comb" from the rear sight and found that at 50 yards, it shot 4" high. Don't waste a lot of money on custom sights, just learn to shoot it the way it's built and enjoy it. It's a great gun and a ton of fun to shoot. (the wife may find it's too much) ;)
