I have a Ruger Model 77 Mark 11 (controlled round feed) in .270 win. The rifle is new / mint condition, never fired with original box etc. Walnut / blue. Purchased 15 years ago - appropriately stored and maintained with periodic wipe down since then. I'm looking to list it and would like to get top $$ for it. How desirable is this rifle? Any suggestions what I should list it for would be appreciated.

Yer start'in awff awn the wrawng fewt.

Yah noe photos arrr awlways welcome.

Ron, are you sure its controlled feed? I have a 77, Mark II in 338 W. Mag, with the big Mauser type extractor claw, which I too, took to be a controlled feed. I took the bolt out to fit a cartridge into it and lo and behold, the bolt wouldn't take the cartridge. I put the cartridge in the magazine, slid the bolt forward and it took up the shell, just as it should. But it wouldn't hold the shell and just let it slide into the chamber. I then, without effort, closed the bolt on the shell, which shouldn't happen with a controlled feed.
