Semi custom Ti 280 rem - since this photo session it's had a j-lock delete, trigger tech trigger, scope change to a Nikon pro5 3.5-14 and a lighter ADL Ti take off - still not done! Lol

Custom Ti 6.5RM with all the important stuff - McM edge, rifle basix, gretan ss fluted pin, ptg bottom metal, gain twist fluted barrel etc etc.

7mag -- nice job on that rifle, them 7saum's are just right do all one gun for the hills when done up like that.

Thank you! Those are some nice Ti's as well! The 7saum works very well, is a pleasure shoot and pack up the mountains! Im doing a trial 280 rem at the moment as I had a spare action, take off ss barrel and a B&C ti stock lying around... If I like the 280, which I know I will, am going to build another light weight! Its fun and addicting!

This is my model 7 Remington. I just purchased it from a guy who indicates that he thinks it was built in SK. Someone has put a lot of money into it, as the barrel has been tapered and the bolt lightened. It is in 7mm-08. I have no way to weigh it, but I am sure it is at the 5lbs mark, if not a little less. 1) Does anybody recognize the work and the possible name of the gunsmith. 2) Who made the stock? Thanks for looking.

Awesome thread. Some real beauties out there.

For you guys with the Wildcats, what costs are you looking at from purchase to finished product?

Cant remember what I paid for the stock now... 3 something??? Traded a friend that knows what hes doing with stocks; fit, full action bed, pad, paint etc for a front diff overhaul for his jeep :) Wouldn't mind a color change to texture black. Thought I would like the grey more....

This is my model 7 rem .308 Win 22" Douglas barrel 1-10 #4 contour trued action pillars bedded ect. Timmey Trigger Leupold 4.5x14x50 30mm VX-3 scope Harries By pod . This not a light weight gun any more about 9 pounds scoped with by pod. But man is fun to shoot. I also have Ted Gailard 24" #4 contour in .243 chamber 1-8 twist if I wanted to put it back on the gun. This gun started out as 243 but the barrel was bulged at the end so I had it replaced with 243.Ted Gailard barrel I was young and weight was not a problem. I then wanted a 308 so I had it re barreled to 308 win. This was 20 years ago and I did not know very much about rifle building all I knew was I wanted match accuracy in a hunting rifle. I then checkered the stock and re finished it two weeks later I slipped and broke the stock at the gun range three weeks before hunting season. I ordered new stock from McMillan it is McMillan hunter. I wish I had put on a lighter contour barrel.
