Ever wait and wait and wait for the right rifle to show up in EE and then ... SPF ? !

You snooze you loose. :) I sold a sxs ithaca 20 gauge 3 minutes after posting ( according to the PM) , I guess I should have asked more!!!!!!!

YEP THAT HAPPENS, but you carry on searching in most cases another will show up and may be in better condition for less money. Ohhh yea, if you had bought the one you "missed" you'd just be looking for something else anyway. Sooo for the time being you've save yourself a few bucks.
enjoy

I wonder if there is a way that you can set up an alert system that notifies you when an EE ad is posted that has key words listed in it? Kijiji has it and it works pretty good....

I had a gander at that rifle and shrugged.
Pays tuh nawt alf a life and sit awn here steady.
Send the seller a p.m. asking to forward yer info to the buyer.
Oh wait, maybe dizz tread will help?

Thanks to having to work for a living.....I have missed a few rifles in the EE that I would love to get my hands on.
Someday maybe time will permit watching the EE much closer. Until then I will keep trying.

I would love to get my hands on T/C contender G2 but I'm not holding my breath haven't Evan seen a contender on EE

I've had this happen to me at least three times in the past .........

Starts out ..... I'm looking for a particular used (out of production) firearm on the EE. Patiently waiting, scanning the EE as much as possible. Searching, searching, and then something popps up that's pretty close to what I want, so I compromise, give in and buy it.

And then ..... BAMMO!! Within a couple days after buying the compromise, exactly what I'm looking for shows up.

Happened a few times. The worst is when someone actually posts the gun you've been waiting for because you can't it find anywhere but they're asking equal or above retail for it. I wouldn't mind too much if it was brand new in box. But when they've fired a few hundred rounds through it or customized it to their version of good looking, its ridiculous to ask retail price.
