Ever wait and wait and wait for the right rifle to show up in EE and then ... SPF ? !

Been there myself...

Having said that I've sold many items here on EE and the fastest handgun sold was in 7 min. First 5 minutes was a "Consider it sold". The next 2 minutes was my password for the EMT.

Sometimes you get real gems from small ads. I answered an ad for sig magazines and ended up with
a sig 210-5 9mm with three mags. The mags I asked about didn't fit my euro 220 45.

Maybe werd an EE WTB..............if'n yer think'n 'bout selling xwhyz ker-pow,
I'm will'in tuh pay mawr then yer ask'in price yer think'n 'bout.

:onCrack:

You see occasional items re-posted because the buyer had second thoughts and backed out. I have thrown a hail Mary on some of these sales by PMing the seller that if the buyer backs out I will like the opportunity to buy. So long everything I missed has eluded me but there is always hope. My personal white whale is a model 100 Ithaca in 20 gauge, I held a used one in my hands 40 years ago before buying my model 37 and cannot get that shotgun out of my head.....

270 totheend

Happened to me a couple times with a Browning Abolt micro hunter 22 Hornet, wanted one forever, took almost 2 years before I seen another come up, got lucky that time and then another shortly after, but now thinking of selling one as I don't need 2. Lol

Happens to me all too often ..... and the other that gets me is when I buy something and 2 hours later there's a better one, for less .... DOH!!

When the EE are not generous, i find and buy a lot of stuff at Prophet, they always have the cool stuff...

Way to go Clay and the boys, you always make it all worth while... JP.

The WTB works well I'm in the process of making a deal for a seek outdoor Ultralight tipi tent for my minimalist hunting kit just need a ultralight pack ,down sleeping bag,Alpaca packraft, water filter extra but I'm off to a good start
Seriously Thinking of getting a long bow and going realy light

Gotta ask. Why the 32-20? Just cause?

Numerous reasons... mainly that it provides all I need in a small game cartridge. I am also set-up to reload for it, and have loads ranging from mouse farts to 100-110 grains going ~2000 fps. I find it very versatile. I also have a lovely BSA 310 Australian Cadet that chambers and fires 32-20 with very good results. Lastly, I reform the spent 32-20 brass to use in my Swiss model 1882 revolver and BSA 310 Australian Cadet with impressive accuracy. And, it's a really cool little cartridge. :)

I've had this happen to me at least three times in the past .........

Starts out ..... I'm looking for a particular used (out of production) firearm on the EE. Patiently waiting, scanning the EE as much as possible. Searching, searching, and then something popps up that's pretty close to what I want, so I compromise, give in and buy it.

And then ..... BAMMO!! Within a couple days after buying the compromise, exactly what I'm looking for shows up.

This has happened to me more than once !!!
