The upper looks a lot like my old Colt .22 but I can't say I like that grip design.

It did feel odd, small and it felt a bit too "plastic". I thought I wouldn't like it considering how different it felt, but I was wrong. It was quite accurate. The one I shot was very well finished and those sights were great. According to the owner of the gun, the takedown screw turns loose and requires loctite or frequent retightening.

FO sights can be added to almost any gun but grip design isn't so easy to change. Here's my Colt, from 1984.

I have one and really like it. I agree the grip should be larger on the bottom instead of tapering. I really don't notice it while shooting though. The sights are great. It's very reliable and quite accurate. The trigger is very nice and its a well made pistol. My takedown screw has yet to loosen though it appears to be a well known issue.
