Can someone steer me where to look for the best deals for mid range quality stripped lowers in Canada?
Looking for Wynham Weap or even DPMS.
Trying to keep it around $150 mark and not more than $200

Anything but NEA really.
Google is not giving me much for the Canadian market sadly.

Any leads would be appreciated.

I realize you said you didn't want to exceed 200, but a Colt Canada lower for 225 seems like a great deal.

Al Simmons has Anderson in stock.

Questar has spikes tactical lowers for around 150. I'm running spikes on my SBR and I've never had an issue. As you said it's just aluminum fluff. Plus I like spikes as a company, refusing to sell to government agencies in the states that impose gun laws that go against the 2nd.

Best bang for your buck seems to be Aero these days.

That sale on Diemaco lowers does put one within my reach though. Normally I wouldn't care but I'd like to build a C8 clone with as much Diemaco stuff as possible.

Not if you care about quality fit/finish and durability...

I used a $110 DPMS Stripped on my first M16A1 clone build with an actual Colt LPK because I got a really good deal on it in a trade. It's been my main AR for almost 5 years and I have never had a single issue with it. All the "super ###y high quality mil-spec" awesomeness of the Colt LPK fit perfectly into the DPMS lower.

There is no arena more full of bias, snake oil and brand obsession than the AR15 market.
As long as the LPK fits into it, all the parts work and keep working, who cares who makes a lower or upper? Especially when the price tags are hundreds of dollars apart. At some point, if it's made out of 7075 T6 (cast or forged) and a standard mil spec LPK fits right into it, then you really are just paying hundreds more dollars for a company roll mark on the mag well. Or if you're into having like shark faces or skulls forged into the front of the magwell nonsense I guess you have to drop the big cash.

The day my DPMS lower just shatters like glass, or my bolt catch roll pin just shears out the side of the receiver, I'll probably regret it lol but until then!

Yeah I'd say.
I read many a review from the US praising Aero Precision on high.
They are very highly regarded on both sides of the border. Just goes to show that there's definitely a line in the sand where function and form can only get so good and then it's just paying for snake oil, marketing/advertising costs and brand-washing.
The only place I would dump solid money on an AR is the barrel and the BCG. I don't even bother putting fancy triggers in my AR's. I still think of it as an above average accuracy battle rifle/range toy but that's just my low brow personal opinion :D

I'm also DPMS fan. Used two lowers, one barrel and an upper in my last builds. They both turned out amazing rifles. Very reliable and zero issues ever. It's hard to find their stuff up here in Canada sometimes though for some reason.

This. Quite simply the truth.
Besides, the bolt release pin location won't shear, you have to pay big bucks for that. The only case of that, of which I'm aware, was a very nearly $4K gun.
