Where can I get an M1a Scout front sight or Tall m1a front sight

Does anyone know how I might go about getting a tall front sight for an m305?

I'm looking for the Springfield NM style front sight part #AA0510 or something similar so that I will have the appropriate sight base for irons on an 18.5" M305. I've tried calling the international number listed on Springfield's website and it wont work. As well, I have no luck getting an email response from them.

My new to me walnut m14 stock has me wanting to make it all better. Note no sights.

you have to phone Springfield and be transferred to their international sales representative. Many employees and phone jockeys at springfield aren't aware they can sell to you so get the right person on the phone. Email is the least reliable method to reach them.
As far as I know, the only way to get the Springfield Bush Rifle front sight (for 18"/18.5" barrels) is to get it direct from springfield. I have bought and received 7 of them over the past few years.

Thanks 45ACPKing. I'll have to go through that route.

So far Treeline has been pretty bad with changing their parts policy being shipped to Canada. I used to be able to get anything from gas cylinders to pistons from them. This has somehow changed this week as Randy is stating that customs has been giving him issues.

As for all the other dealers, most of them will either not bring it in, or will do it for crazy export permit fee... My experiences with Brownells has also been less than desirable because they use UPS. I dont plan on paying crazy brokerage fees on top of a duty fee that will run my cost way above the cost of the part itself. Not only that, they dont carry the part.

Call Springfield and dial ext 8981 for Kelly who takes care of Canadian sales. There is a $100 limit though
